Tattoos were once a rare thing to have, and the people who did have one were perceived negatively.
This negative association is slowly disappearing over the past few decades.
In the fashion industry, more tattooed models took to the runway during The Spring/Summer 2018 (SS18) than ever before.
This shows just how far tattoos have came, from them having negative connotations in the past to a popular style trend.
Maria Grazia Chiuri the creative director of Christian Dior often pushes political ideals or statements within her shows.
This year, the show had black and white evening outfits and some of the models had neck tattoos.
The temporary tattoos were French words and quotes created by writer Andre Breton.
